Hemp Food
Industrial hemp is any part of the cannabis plant grown specifically for commercial purposes, such as fiber, seed, and oil production, or CBD products containing no more than 0.3% delta-9 THC by dry weight. Unlike marijuana, industrial hemp is non-psychoactive and is legally excluded from Schedule I controlled substances under the Controlled Substances Act. Other cannabinoids, like CBD, are non-psychoactive (Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018, § 10113).
